How American Health Care Killed My Father ( by David Goldhill ) is an important article about the state of healthcare in U.S. hospitals today. The author brings to light real problems with today’s hospital systems. If you’ve been in a hospital lately, as a patient or frequent visitor, you may find Goldhill’s words reflecting your own thoughts. If you don’t read anything else on this page, read his article.

by John Commins, for HealthLeaders Media, April 23, 2013.  He says: Johns Hopkins researchers: “... estimated that between 80,000 to 160,000 patients suffer misdiagnoses-related, potentially preventable, significant permanent injury or death annually across the nation.”

Wrong Diagnosis - and Medical Errors are discussed by Dr. Mercola in this article where he says: "Back in 2004, a national survey sent to head and neck surgeons revealed that 45 percent of specialists had committed medical errors in their practice in the preceding six months, affecting both pediatric and adult patients.
